TO SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION
- Self-schedule an inspection at www.sjpermits.org -- it's easy -- have your permit card handy and click the "Schedule an Inspection" button.
- For assistance with scheduling an inspection, call 408-535-3555 during normal business hours.

CANCEL AN INSPECTION REQUEST
You may cancel a pending inspection up until 2:00 p.m., two business days before the scheduled inspection date. If you attempt to modify an Inspection that has been dispatched, you will get the following error message:
"Your request has already been dispatched, please contact the Building Division at (408) 535-3555 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. In order to expedite service, please refer to your Confirmation Number (IRN) when you call."
If an inspection is not cancelled by 2:00 p.m., two business days before the scheduled inspection, you will be charged for the requested inspection time.
