Building Permits With Plan Review - Instructions

Here is a simple example of how to use the available guides and tools for a Residential project. Please use the naming guide for your project type.

#1 - Go to the web page Building Permits With Plan Review - Instructions

#2 - Scroll down to the File Naming Guides and select the Naming Guide for your project. In this example, a Residential project. Download the excel spreadsheet.

#3 - Open the excel spreadsheet and "enable content".

Type your project number at the top.

This will update the sheet to show ALL of the valid file names and content

#4 - Copy and Paste the names to rename your files.
